Can anyone help me pin this family down? Primarily looking for a death record for Mary Barton nee Hennessey in Kilkenny born late 1800s died 1973 in Kilkenny. Can't find the death record. Also I have a marriage record for her of 1915 but all records I have found don't name husband who was Michael Barton. I need to connect them up. Any help appreciated.

marriage from the GRO index 9th Aug 1915, Kilkenny dist., this version of the index has both names. The death is too recent for online records. You could check in the GRO research room

unfortunately Irish Genealogy Civil Records is not working for me at the moment to see who she married to find her on census

Thanks again dathai. I am sat here at the moment trying to find anything to help. As you say Irish records very hard. I'm interested primarily in Michael Patrick Barton b.1881. Can't find a marriage for him to Mary Hennessey (of course there are several ways of spelling Hennessey). They had children Anastasia, Michael, Agnes and Christopher. He was in the Boer War and I have a record of him but he later absconded to USA and never returned so I'm looking for into on him in US too. I appreciate your helping, thank you again.
