To dawnish; I have the 1911 census for Henry & Mary L Chivers. He was a coastguard in Grimsby.
Nothing for him in 1901 yet; in 1901 Mary Louisa Pow born 1879 was living in Walcot. Henry was born 1881 in Walcot.
Rosie; the 1939 Register may be wrong :-\ with the birth.

I don't think there is a connection between these 2. Henry Alexander Chivers was the son of a William George. and Jane with William G. being bc.1848 Potterne, Wiltshire son of a William and Ann (William senior also being born in Wiltshire).
Stanley James was actually born Welton, Midsomer Norton, son of John and Amelia. John was bc.1871 Welton, son of a John and Eliza and in turn John senior was also born in Welton ca.1847, son of a James also born in Welton, Midsomer Norton.
One line rooted in Somerset, the other rooted in Wiltshire.

Thank you Annette for your thoughts. I was coming to the same conclusion as I had not found any connection. :)
