There is a child baptised to James and Jemima Fletcher - James April 28 1807.
There is a burial of James Fletcher (farmer) on 23 Nov 1811 - so burial of an adult not the child James.
William Cumberland married Jemima Fletcher 4 Nov 1819 Toddington.
I'd like a check please to see if both were widowed at 1819 marriage. Also a check 1812 - 1819 for any other marriage for a Jemima Fletcher.
Thanks,
Fred

As per the Beds FHS Surnames Index CD...
Jemima Fletcher was a widow when she married in 1819 at Toddington. The marriage was by licence.
William Cumberland was a widower when he married at Toddington in 1819 by licence. He was from Great Gaddesden, Herts. The marriage licence transcript may give additional info, but for post 1812 marriages it don't reveal much.
There are no other mentions for Jemima Fletcher & there wasn't a prior marriage for James Fletcher (to Jemima) in Bedfordshire.
Beds Archives hold the will of James Fletcher, farmer & grazier, of Toddington ref ABP/W 1812/48
