searching for the parents of John And Samuel Garner, Exton, Rutland
Samuels marriage certificate names Thomas Garner has the father.
Found Thomas in the Parish records but cannot find Samuel in the Birth or Christening records.
this information would confirm the parents of both John and Samuel.

You haven't given any dates - when was Samuel born please?
And what was his fathers occupation on the marriage?

There's a baptism in Exton Northamptonshire in 1801 - might that be it :-\

Samuel Garner date of birth is 1802 and John Garner 1791 these dates may be slightly out

His father was a farm labourer
Checked the Rutland IGI and it shows John living with samuel and Dinah in Market Overton, Rutland.
it also states that Samuel was born in Exton, Rutland.

There's a baptism in Exton Northamptonshire in 1801 - might that be it
That record is actually from Exton in Rutland

Many thank's for that, this is the same record that I found and I believe it could be the correct family.
If I could only find Samuel born to the same family it would confirm it for me has I know by the census that John was is brother.
