I'd like to find the baptism for my mother Muriel Leeper b 1928 registered Stranolar. Father was Oliver Leeper and Marion Kilpatrick. Birth certificate shows she was born in Cappry - which appears to be the name of a road. Also interested in the baptisms of any siblings together with marriages for Murial and any siblings............
Have these records been returned to a Records Office, as in the UK? Where would I find these records please?
Thanks

Cappry is a townland
See here for an good explanation http://www.irish-genealogy-toolkit.com/Irish-land-divisions.html
Can't answer your other question but it would likely help to say which religious denomination they were.

Many Irish Catholic parish registers are now online but there are very unlikely to be such recent records available online to protect the privacy of potentially living people (just like Rootschat doesn't allow us to post details of living people).
The civil registration index, however, is online and goes up to 1958 for Republic of Ireland and 1921 for N.I. counties-

There are 19 Leeper births in Stranorlar district but none with mother's maiden name of Kilpatrick. There is a marriage in 1926 for Oliver Leeper & Marianne Kilpatrick- as well as possible birth for Oliver in 1900 and death in 1963-

Looks like the Leepers were Church of Ireland-

Thank you everyone for your replies.
Is there nowhere that more recent records can be accessed? I'm quite happy to travel to Ireland to research this.

Maybe you will find the answer here

Excellent! Thank you one and all. I hopefully have enough information now to make some progress.

Andrew Leeper died 22nd June 1924
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FTNY-N47
you can order a testamentery copy of his administration papers here
just enter his name into search archives
http://www.nationalarchives.ie/search-the-archives/
if you just enter the name Leeper on it's own you will get more Wills but not sure if they are related.

Looks like Andrew Leeper didn't leave a Will. The administration paperwork may contain minimal detail or letters and other clues.
