Title: Prison mugshot
Post by: vienna on Saturday 27 August 16 20:03 BST (UK)
After reading Welsh newspapers online I have discovered that my G G Grandmother spent a month in prison on two separate occasions June 1906 and December 1906 .Can anyone tell me if she would have had a mugshot done and if there is any way in which I could view it .I have never seen a photograph of her and would be fascinated to know what she looked like .

A long shot but you could ask the county archives if they hold any photos?

I found a mugshot for a friend's ancestor in our local archives.

You could try Black Sheep Ancestors...also Victorian Prison Registers.
