I have Windows Live Mail for emails on a laptop but now cannot get it to appear when clicking it on the task bar or elsewhere. The blue circle appears, turns a few times then disappears.
I can use my i-pad for emails, but that is not always convenient as my full contact list is on the laptop and so is inaccessible at present.
I have Windows 10 and it mostly works ok
Any suggestions, in layman's language, please?

Have you tried rebooting? could it be your server?

What was the last thing you changed before it stopped working ?
Check the Events Log for what the box is doing before, during & after attempting to Launch 'Live Mail'
Have you taken new, relevant WINUPDATES ?
You could try a System restore to go back to a known working condition ....

Thanks for responses.
Yes, rebooted, but no change.
Where do I find Events Log please? No recent WIN updates knowingly received.
Next stop, system restore, but I'll post a letter first [snail] and check to find out about Events Log.

START -> ALL PROGRAMS -> ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS -> EVENT VIEWER

See this thread, Microsoft have discontinued Live Mail so we all now have to use Outlook. Michael.

I still use Windows Live Mail on my computer ;D

As stated by Jomot on the other thread, Windows Live Mail still works for them but only for non-Microsoft email addresses. Those ending @live or @Hotmail now have to be accessed via Outlook.
Michael.
