Can anyone help with this please.
I am back to John Nicholson of Thrimby baptized 23 Mar 1813. His father is Henry Nicholson and mother is Sarah.
I think he married Elizabeth Ellwood on the 2nd Sept 1837 at Barton, Westmorland.
I have traced him in all the Census's and he lives at Thrimby Hall until at least 1871 and he was re-married to a Mary. I can't find their marriage.
Please can anyone help with my main query who were John's parents Henry Nicholson and Sarah.
And with John's remarriage to a Mary. John was with Elizabeth in 1851. Was a widower in 1861 and married to Mary in 1871.
Thank you for any help.

Please can anyone help with my main query who were John's parents Henry Nicholson and Sarah.
Hopefully someone can help, I can't see them
-
Yes, I am totally stuck with John's parents. Henry & Sarah.
I see somewhere that there are some Henry Nicholson's from Barton and one from Crosby Ravensworth (died 1747) but they are earlier in the 1700's and I can't connect them up to this Henry.
Can any one help please.
Any help would be gratefully received.

What error message did you get. If it was about the file name then just make up a short one with a few numbers added on.
I thought from your earlier PM to me that you needed a picture - Sorry.
