I am doing a family history album for my friend regarding the history of Susan Tavernier who married Charles Gotobed.
They married October 1857 (I think in Poplar, Tower Hamlets) That may be incorrect.
Charles Gotobed was born in Ely, Cambridgeshire in 1836 and I think he died in 1915, West Ham.
I have of info regarding their children and the connection to my friend. Any info about Susan Tavernier would help.

Could one or both of them have been already married to other partners when early children born and only free to marry each other in 1838?

Could be death for Sarah
Sarah Tabner buried 6 Aug 1828 - Parish of Ely Trinity age 28
But Isaac didn't remarry until 10 years later ???

According to Familysearch Charlotte Boon was single when she married.
I think Charlotte may have had a sister Harriet. There's a Harriet Boon who married Richard Fenn in Ely in 1837. in 1851 Harriet is widowed, she is also born in Mildenhall.

Thank you for all your information. Most of it confirms what I found......I also believe that Sarah Morley was Isaacs 1st wife and she would be the legitimate gr gr gr grandmother of my friend along with her 5 children.
Susan who was born March 1834?? is my friends gr gr grandmother& married to Charles Gotobed.
Many thanks for your time.....a lot of work and a lot of interesting fun. I might post more queries on her later.
