looking for any information on Elizabeth hind Paterson ,believe she is my grandmother,
mother of Margaret Isabella Paterson b:c 1891 d:c1924 in Cumberland England.
Margaret Paterson was married to William Armstrong around 1919 in newcastleton, roxburghshire.

Had a look at the Castleton MI's and found the following stone
In memory of William Paterson who died at newcastleton 22 may 1926 aged 81 yrs also his wife Elizabeth Hind who died 4 Oct 1923 aged 64 yrs also their daughter Margaret Isabella wife of William Armstrong who died at Workington 22 Nov 1924 aged 33 years

From the 1881/1891/1901 census it would appear Elizabeth was born in England somewhere between 1859 and 1861. A few to choose from on Freebmd so best bet to get further back would be by viewing the 1880 marriage certificate on Scotlandspeople.
