Hoping someone can help with a check of the actual entry in the Parish Register for the following entry taken from FamilySearch:
Name: Edmund or Edwin Bath
Gender: Male
Christening Date: 12 Apr 1840
Christening Place: Laycock, Wiltshire, England
Father's Name: Holly
Mother's Name: Ann Bath
Source details: Indexing Project (Batch) Number C15271-1; Film Number : 1279307
There is no entry for the Birth in the GRO Indexes, nor on the WiltshireBMD (Register Office Index) site, so presumably the birth wasn't registered and, unfortunately, I can't obtain a Birth Certificate.

The Wiltshire baptism index has two entries for him, one with the surname Bath and one with Bathe. Both entries have him down as Edmund Holly Bath/Bathe with mother Ann. Mother's occupation is given as "Lewd and disorderly woman"
