Title: Rita hawkins
Post by: Oranges on Sunday 09 April 17 13:14 BST (UK)
Hi this is a very slim chance I know, does anyone know or did anyone go to school with a Rita Hawkins from beech hill, Newtown, Woodlawn, ballinasloe co.Galway she was born on 29th June 1927 so she would probably have gone to school in the 1930s/early fourties. Hawkins was fathers name and Dunne was mothers surname

Hi Oranges,

What kind of information are you looking for? Quite a lot has already been posted on the threads you have started.
Are you now just looking for stories about Rita to enhance what you already know.

Regards
Heywood

Hi Heywood, that's correct it's basically to enhance what we already know and there might be a slight chance someone who knew her is still alive in that area, because she left Ireland having giving birth to the baby Rita she never really told any stories of her life there and it's only been in the last few years I'm finding out things but this way using this chat line is a lot quicker

Many thanks
