Please can anyone find a marriage for John bapt 14th June 1757 at Queniborough ?
His parents were Edward and Dorothy.
The surname variations could be Marson / Marsden. Please disregard the Ancestry sites which state that he married in Nottingham.
Kind regards,
Sue

Hi
I can't see anything for John Marsden/Marson not in Queniborough or as his parish. But there is this one maybe John's brother?

Thankyou very much Bunnygirl.
Edward is his father and that was his third marriage.
It was a long shot looking for John so I may have to leave him. He is the last of that family to find and I think he doesn't want to be found ;D
Thankyou for your help, kind regards,
Sue

That's interesting to know, as I have a Dorothy Marson marrying into my family in 1815. Although most of her children were born in Kirby Muxloe she was buried in Queniborough, so I have her 'pencilled in' as a daughter of Edward & Elizabeth.

Yes I remember from a previous thread of yours Jomot.
My side comes from his first marriage to Dorothy Searson. I don't have a marriage for your Dorothy yet though.
The info I found for your Dorothy being Edward and Elizabeth's daughter came from microfilm at LRO back in the 90's.

I'd forgotten about that thread, thanks for reminding me.

I just meant that it was a legitimate find :)
We are very very distantly related , so distant that I don't think that I will try working it out ! ;D ;D
