This couple are believed to be a German Kuss and Veronika Weiser who were both born around 1815. I don't have the originals so can't offer any clues from the cards.
The photographs were probably taken either in Furtwangen or Schonwald in the Black Forest.
Do the quality of the photograph, the apparent ages of the couple, the clothes they are wearing and therefore the possible date they were taken, match up?
And finally, does anyone think there is any possibility that this is the same man as the one I posted yesterday? I'll append that to this post too.
Tall question I know, but way beyond my ken. :)

In my opinion it is two different men :)

On my I Phone the Gentleman with the Glasses looks
Cross eyed.
The other Gentleman is not cross eyed so I would say :o
They are not the same Gentleman .
By the two photos that are on this post today.

The photo of the lady is 1870's & as her chignon is placed at the back of her head I would suggest mid-late decade.
The man could be 1860's or 70's by his dress style but as the photo is quite good I would also suggest 1870's.

I would say they are not the same person.

Agree - not the same man. Hair parted on opposite side of head . . . not definitive but still . . . .
The lady looks a bit young to have been born in 1815. Jim's dating of the photo would make her 65 at least. :-\ :-\

I agree with Wiggy...more likely to be the next generation.

Thank you all - brilliant comments. Would any of you care to guess at the ages of the subjects?

I will have a guess at them being in their fifties, but seeing as people looked older than their years in the past, I could be wrong. :-\
-
Not too good at guessing ages. ;). Possibly 50s for first man. Don't know for second, but older I am guessing. Woman . . . Late 40s or 50s maybe. :-\

Thanks a-l and Wiggy. ;D ;D

The Lady has a face which does not age with time.
I put the Lady at 45 years old.
The first Gentleman at 56 years old
Second Gentleman at 68 years old.
At a guess ::)

Thank you Scribble1952. Useful guesses! ;D ;D
