Title: Spiceland Meeting House, Devon - new video from Quaker FHS
Post by: jonwicken on Monday 22 May 17 23:23 BST (UK)
The Quaker Family History Society are pleased to announce the arrival of our YouTube channel.

We have filmed many of our recent talks and tours at our events and these will all be appearing over the coming weeks. For now please enjoy our first posting.

The final event of our Quaker FHS Spring One-Day Meeting held in Exeter on 6 May 2017 was a guided tour around Spiceland Meeting House in Devon with John Bell.

It really was a highlight as it is very rural and isolated and all around is the sound of bird song. The interest and enthusiasm of John Bell was captivating.

We have left the video unedited so you can follow him around as we did and enjoy being taken on an informative tour which details the history of Spiceland and its connection to George Fox, the founder of the Religious Society of Friends.

The tour continues in Part 2 which is coming soon.

Kind regards,
Jon
