Having looked at registers which are not very clear I am looking for a Marriage between Daniel McCarthy & Margaret Walsh circa 1850 - 1854 in Mogeely (Imogeela) or Castlemartyr Co Cork.
Have also tried Family Search but when I enter Daniels name all the records show as Daniel father of bride or groom? Thank you

If the marriage took place in a Catholic church before 1864 then it's unlikely to show up in the Irish (etracted) marriages on Family Search. The first results you get there should be for a Daniel McCarthy and Margaret Walsh, then results for a Daniel McCarthy and wife Margaret, etc. but that doesn't mean that any of those results are the ones you are looking for.
Since the records you looked at are hard to read then it's possible the marriage is listed.

Added- records also available other places but if transcriber had difficulty reading the register (especially if only viewing a microfilm or photocopy)...

Tks Aghadowey for your reply yes the registers are difficult to read only some legible unfortunately. Marriage would have been in RC Church. :)

Marriages usually in bride's parish so next step is to check adjoining parishes if you aren't sure where she was from.

Thanks Annclare I have a baptism for a Johanna in March 1855 from FindMyPast wonder if the 1845 Johanna died? All their children seemed to be born in the 1850's

I found a Marriage entry that I cannot translate (latin)
NLI registers 21st April 1844 Parish Imogeela Diocese of Cloyne Co Cork Marriage
Richard McCarthy & Margaret Walsh Address Carrignashinna .
I am wondering is the McCarthy Christian name incorrect & maybe it is Daniel?
-
Its Definitely Richard McCarthy Got dispensation "in duplice" think that might be to the 2nd degree - not sure.

Annclare what would the reason for a dispensation do you know?
-
Usually consanguinity 1st cousins not permitted usually - 2nd cousins usually given a dispensation and marriage allowed.
