The name of Halley/Hallie, I have been wanting to research years ago.I would be able to check this name on a C/D of Yaxley Hunts, BUT I have loaned it out, at present, I have,
1881 census Yaxley, Joseph Coles born 1832 , wife Sarah 1834, walter 1861 joseph 1864 emma 1868
MARY HALLEY/HALLIE Coles born 1871/2 Yaxley and horace born 1876.
Mary halley Coles 1871/2 married Joseph Day 1865 in 1891 at Peterborough.Its so frustrating loaning out this C/D of Yaxley, how can I work around this until the C/D is RETURNED.any ideas of HELP.Margaret.p.s sorry to be a pain.

James Burton and Martha age 20 (under Lames Binton and Martha)
Robt Speechley 30 and Family including SURAH age 6+++

So the James Burton who married Martha King from Census is born c 1818 Yaxley.
Marriage has his Father as James*
MARY Burton Baptised 24 Feb 1811 Yaxley to JAMES/ANN
Fits with Mary Speechley dob/pob

Folks,
The tree showing her as Mary Halley Burton would be mine,but it was speculative.I have just re-checked Hunts FHS CD for marriage PR as Haliburton, BT as Halley Burton.Baptism shows her as Burton,d/o James,shoemaker, and Ann,siblings James 1814 and Ann 1817 as Hallyburton,the latter records her father as a soldier killed in Ireland Sep 1817.
I will now show her as Hallyburton.
