Title: Information on my relatives
Post by: Deeclear on Sunday 25 June 17 22:28 BST (UK)
Hi
My grandmother gave birth to a baby girl on October 29th 1939 and the place of birth was the county home in Cashel
I am trying to find out more information about this
Thanks
Deirdre

Unless you know that the child has since died, it's too-recent for us to conside chasing after the records due to the no-living-person policy on this site.

I'll ask for this to be moved to County Tipperary to better target the replies

Have you an idea of when Catherine was born and if she married her father's name would be on her marriage cert.
There is a birth of a Bridget Kavanagh 1939 on FamilySearch
https://familysearch.org/search/collection/1408347?collectionNameFilter=false
If you want to get the birth cert https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/civil-records/help/i-want-to-get-a-copy-of-a-certificate-what-do-i-do although apart from the date it won't tell you anymore than you already know.

Glad you mentioned Tipperary....

Nothing worse having to google to find out where somewhere is & worse when there's several worldwide  ;)
