Title: Taukkyan War Cemetery
Post by: kelabit on Thursday 20 July 17 18:53 BST (UK)
I'll be visiting Burma next month (Aug 2017) and spending time at the CWGC cemetery just north of Yangon. If anyone would like a headstone photographed I'll be happy to oblige.

Welcome to Rootschat.   :)

What a kind offer.  Could you photograph Frank William Morgan,  6 B 21 ?

Once you have made 3 posts you will be able to use the PM system and I can send you my email address if you wish to send the photo that way.

Hi Nanny Jan,
I most certainly will for sure. :)
I'll make another couple of posts in coming days and link up by pm and email.

Thank you John;  Frank was my first cousin, twice removed, but had a sad family background and I don't think anyone else is researching him. A photo will be a lovely addition to my records.

For anyone following this thread;  I have just had 3 lovely photos emailed to me from kelabit (John).

One just of the grave, one showing his "neighbours" and a general one of the beautifully kept CWGC cemetery.

This is very much appreciated, thank you.
