Title: Samuel Griffihs-Margaret Blower Marriage 1880.

My relative Samuel Griffiths was born in St Martins Parish Shropshire in 1858 the son of a William Griffiths who was born in Denbighshire in c 1834 and again my relative Sarah Davies who was born in Llangollen Denbighshire in c 1835.

Though Samuel is shown as born in Lodge,Chirk Denbighshire in the 1881 Census for Denbighshire he is shown living at Lodge in the 1861 Census for Shropshire in  the St Martins Parish the son of William and Sarah.

Samuel married a Margaret Blower at Rhosymedre Parish Church Denbighshire on the 9th of February 1880.Margaret's father is given as John Blower(Collier).There appears to be no problem with Margaret's birth as she is shown in the 1871 census for Denbighshire living with her widowed Mother Jane and with older and younger siblings.

Now returning to the the 1881 Census entry for Samuel he is shown with Margaret and two children Sarah J given as born in c 1880 and a John B given as one week old.However using the new GRO Birth Index I am unable to find these Births with the Mother's maiden name of Blower.

Help please!

Could this be Sarah (she would not be 2 until after the census)

Thanks,yes after posting I also found this Birth.Though there does remain the the John B Griffiths Birth?

Thanks,whilst the birth is of course a probable,you have really hit the nail on the head in that I can find no sighting of  the couple and or children after 1881?
