Would anyone with access to the Heanor St Lawrence Marriage Registers be willing to help please.
I have a marriage for William Sanderson and Mary Newbury who married on the 23 December 1823. I would like to know who the parents of the couple are please. William was born in Sheffield approx 1803 and Mary was born in Osgathorpe, Leicestershire - I'm having problems tracking them down!

I would like to know who the parents of the couple are please.
Fathers names were not included on marriage entries prior to 1.7.1837 and mothers names are never shown on English or Welsh marriage certs

Doh, sorry I forgot about that! Perhaps Witnesses may provide clues??

Mary Ann Newberry, daughter of George and Elizabeth, baptised on 31st August 1806 in Coleorton, 2.5 miles from Osgathorpe.
A George Newbury married Elizabeth Weston, of Ravenstone, married Elzabeth Weston at Whitwick, St John the Baptist, on 7th April 1800.
Other children of George and Elizabeth, baptised at Coleorton, follow that date.
Sarah bapt 12th April 1801
Harriot b 1808 bapt 20th September 1812.
William bapt 20th September 1812.
My wife's family lived in the Osgathorpe and Coleorton area and also moved to the Heanor and Codnor district. One of them gave his birth place as either Coleorton or Osgathorpe on the censuses.

I have found the marriage on several sites but none of them give the names of witnesses. It is very likely they weren't recorded.
