Title: Cardiff
Post by: NEATWHEAT on Sunday 13 August 17 16:33 BST (UK)
I am trying to find information on my great aunt Eva Grace Margaret Taylor, born in Cardiff in 1901,mother Wyatt,  she is on the 1911 census as Eve,  but then I cannot find her anywhere.  Cant find a marriage for her or a death.  Cant find her on the 1939 lists either.  My aunt (her niece) seems to remember she was known as Grace.  Can anyone help please?
Regards

Are you sure that she was Eva and not Evelyn M born 1901 daughter of Ernest A G & Ellen Taylor.

The only Taylor child I can see born 1910 mmn Wyatt is
TAYLOR, HAROLD  ROBERT SAMUEL    mmn WYATT

Sorry I made a mistake I meant 1901, I have those details but I cannot find her anywhere after 1911. No marriage, no death and not on 1939.
Thanks

Does your aunt remember whether she had any children or does she have any idea where she lived

Sadly no except they lived in Canton, Cardiff, she is 92 next month and can just about remember her grandfather Ernest Taylor, even though she says she used to stay at their house.  One thing she did tell me was that they were very strong members of the Salvation Army in Canton and Ernest played the drum.

Thank you I had found Ireland Marriage but not the death.  have looked on the 1939 records and cant find either of them, have tried Cardiff and Glamorganshire.  It seems to be the closest I have got.  The death is most likely, cant think there would be many Eva G M's.  Will keep looking at the link.  Thanks again NEATWHEAT

I looked for possible children on freebmd found Winifred 1920 - Her transcription was correct - free search put her with Ernest J Roland.

There is a service record for Ernest James Ireland, with first wife named as NOK, Olive Jessie Nicholas, 2 sons born. She died 1919.

Don't know if helps, but gives his age.

Thank you for your help on Eva Taylor, it all fits into place.

I now have one more piece of the jigsaw to solve, one of her sisters.

Her name is Ada Violet Winifred Taylor born in Cardiff 1898  have her in 1901 and 1911
She married Samuel Langford in 1916
They had a child Elsie Winifred Ellen Langford in 1916

After that I cannot find any of them.  Looked for more children, deaths, and 1939 but no trace.

Can anyone solve this one for me please
