Sidney Gausden born 1912 in Eastbourne married Joan A Little in 1936. From Free BMD the marriage is registered in Aled in the rural county of Denbighshire. Who was Joan A Little, where and when was she born. Perhaps the marriage registered in Aled was Joan's home territory. A marriage certificate might help but before obtaining one am I missing the obvious?
Grateful help in finding Joan's history.

Thanks JJ for your helpful replies ending not with a stick but a carrot :D You say much more information is readily available, however, I don't have access to Ancestry, Find my Past etc where this information might be available. I will try Public Member Trees when next in my local library but this will have to wait for 10 or more days. Much appreciate your help and support.

Last minute plan change gave me an hour in a library but did not achieve much ??? Found nothing on Public Member Trees. 1939 Register was interesting. Joan A is married, husband not shown - he is possibly at war. Relationship of Beryl (Donn?) born 1926 is clearly not Joan's daughter. You say "there is much more information readily available" so I'm missing the obvious, or more likely having another senior moment. So, help please to underpin Sidney Gausden m Joan Aldred Little

The information that can be found is relating to Joan Aldred Little's line. Equally there is a death record and burial for Sidney Gausden.
Beryl Dunn Little seem to be quite an 'unknown quantity' at the moment. She died in 2003, Colwyn.
Your original post asked for Joan's history therefore that is what I concentrated on, however if there is specific information you are looking for then please let me know as I'll then have a look :)

I think you need to spend less time looking at public member trees (many of which are inaccurate) and more time looking at the available records? ;D

Agree many PMTs are inaccurate, however, many provide stones when overturned produce helpful results. Clearly, I'm not in the your extensive research league and I'm very grateful for your help in finding the Gausden/Little history

dob on 2003 death entry is 18 September 1926 for Beryl
I don't know if there's any connection with this birth entry as the middle initial and qtr. are different
but thought I'd post anyway just in case.......

This is my family. Sidney and Joan were my Grandparents on my Father’s side. Beryl was my Aunt on
my Grandmother’s side.
