Title: 1891 and 1901 Evelyn D Hunt b 1882 Dorset and Margaret Hunt b 1873 Dorset

Looking for Evelyn in 1891 to establish her family- possibly in Andover area in 1891.
There is a possibility that she is in the City of London in 1901 and I wonder if she was in service as the family had working connections with Lord Portman estate in Dorset.

Also looking for her older sister Margaret (both births registered on Sturminster register) in 1891 and 1901. I possibly have Margaret in 1881 with a large brood of siblings on Grove Farm, Stalbridge

The only Evelyn that comes up in 1901 is this one, born Blandford, Dorsetshire & St Bartholomew The Less in London: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X9DZ-J24

Off to search for Margaret in 1901 now! ;D

I couldn't find a Margaret Hunt that fits, however...

There is this from FreeBMD:

Hunt, Margaret to Wills, George; December Qtr 1898; Sturminster Reg Dist; Volume 5a Page 552

Then could this be Margaret in 1901 as Margaret Wills born Stalbridge, Dorsetshire & living in Bristol? https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XSDX-H1R

If we have the right family Father was often known by first name Elias.

Marriage of Evelyn Daisy Hunt to Richard Austin Matcham 20 November 1909 at Durweston, Dorset

I can't see a mention of a daughter Margaret though who would have been born before the marriage ::)

Thank you all! The marriage of Evelyn Daisy Hunt to Richard Matcham in 1909 is the correct one.
That is the easy part of the research!

Elias and Fanny is def the wrong family as the father of Evelyn and Margaret was head gardener at Chettle house for a while- and not a tavern keeper.

Re Rosie-s post. Well I know for certain from the family that Richard austin matcham married Evelyn Daisy hunt- so that turns everything on its head!!! But brilliant that you have found that the beride's father was Elias- back to the drawing board as that knocks out the Frederick and Jane Hunt parentage.

Really appreciate all your help!

I am doing this for an elderly relative of my husband who is telling me all that she ''knows'!!
