Title: No ATS record
Post by: ostrauts on Friday 13 October 17 12:01 BST (UK)
Back in September I applied for my grandmother's ATS service history.

I received a reply this morning from the MOD stating no record could be found.  Shame really.  Would've been nice to get some more knowledge on her time with ATS.

Are you certain she was with the ATS rather than some other service? Do you have her service number and any idea of where she served and what she did?

Yes, she was in the ATS.  Confirmed by her daughters & son.

Nan never spoke of her time in the ATS.  Other than she was a Medical Orderly &  she also worked in a plotting room.  She was a Lance Corporal. And her son told me she only served in the UK.

We don't know her service number.
