Hello every one.My gtgt gm was Eliza STEWART born c1843 Glasgow shes ended up in NZ and has married Robert WOODBURN in 1865 then later to her son in laws brother William YOUNG in 1889.
My question or query is on Williams cemetery records there is a note saying married dau of WS from Rutherglen which i will attach along with marriage cert stating Elizas parents are /were William STEWART and Ann WIGGINS?
I found a death for Ann STEWART nee WIGGINs 1861 on sctppl and that has address of 26 mill st rutherglen
found this couple in 1861 Census for Rutherglen .Census states Island? Ireland for birthplaces of William /Ann and Eliza
Im just not sure this is my Eliza but Anns death cert does show WIGGINs as maiden surname
I cannot find any other census or Elizas birth in scotland as is stated on her 2nd marriage to William YOUNG(her first marriage falls in years where no info on parents is given)
I would appreciate your opinions or advice
