Title: Ancestry Tree Invites
Post by: SmallTownGirl on Monday 30 October 17 08:40 GMT (UK)
Hi peeps

A few months ago I invited someone to be a Guest on my Tree, but the invites didn't get through to her gmail address - not even in the Spam folder.  Luckily she also had a Hotmail address and that one did work.

I've just tried with another person, this time to a Hotmail address and the invites aren't reaching her, or her Spam folder.

Does anyone have any ideas, please?

Thanks
STG

My first thought is to check that the email address is spelled correctly?
If you have received an email from the person, copy-and-paste it into the Ancestry invites box.

I have a lot of contacts in one of my volunteer roles - and a fair few of their email addresses are written incorrectly!
People think they know their email address, but somehow make mistakes when passing them on!

I did the copy/paste thing in the first place.   :(

I'd suggest asking her to check her blocked senders list.
