I'm researching a great grandie Peter Farmer and his family. Peter was probably born about 1820 and he died in Liverpool in 1880. He had at least 2 children - Owen Farmer (abt 1852 - 1917) and Mary (possibly middle name Ann and married name Gorry) (abt 1847-1891). The major link to Armagh is via one census entry for Mary otherwise it is just 'Ireland' for them all. Griffiths Valuations do show a lot of Farmers around Newry and surrounds. Peter may have been married to one Catherine McConvill(e) (1845 Lower Killeavy) and I have found a birth record for a Mary Ann presumably from the same marriage for 1847. I can't find anything more about Peter - birth record, parents, extended family. I also can't find Catherine's death - she may have died in Armagh or in Liverpool where at least Peter and the children moved to anywhere from the late 1840's to early 1860's. Would appreciate any information you might have :D

Thanks for this. I have gone to these registers before and confess that the writing takes a real toll on me eyes. Has this information been transcribed/captured anywhere else?

Ancestry and Find My Past.
I sometimes use the search on Ancestry to narrow down the options, I don't have a sub to see the full result but it can save you a lot of searching.
