Hi,
Harry Baron was a first cousin to my grandmother, his father being the brother of her mother.
I'm looking for descendants of Harry, who married Marianne (May) Keeble in Suffolk, England in 1903 and emigrated to Canada in 1908. I believe they had three children all born in Canada (possibly Alberta), one of whom, Joyce, married William Davies in 1935.
I was in touch with Joyce and William's daughter in Vancouver some years ago but contact has been lost.
As this involves living people could anybody having current contact with any of the family please PM me rather than post contact details on this forum.

Thank you so much, Sandra.
I have little knowledge of Canadian resources and you've got me off to a great start here, including that one of the childrens' names I was given was, in fact, the son's wife, not a sister. It will be interesting to see what else comes up.

Thanks again, Sandra, that has turned up a lot of information from which to flesh out this branch of the family.
I'll leave this thread open for the moment in case any descendants should come looking :)

Hi Janice (Watkin) Jones
In reply 14 it was only the initials of the informant quoted for a specific reason. The surname is not quite as it was typed on the death certificate either.
Perhaps you are unaware of the rules of RootsChat regarding living people. - - this is pointed out in "Guidelines to Posting"............
Anything posted on the internet is in the public domain where anybody can see this information. To protect people and their identities RootsChat do not encourage the posting of information about people who are or maybe still living - the person you have named is a living person as far as we know so you do need to remove the name.

Sorry, Sandra,
I thought the subject was deceased! I was just pointing out that the surname has different spellings on different records.
I am in the process of contacting living descendants and we'll see if they wish to be involved in filling the gaps.
Please tell me how to remove the names I mentioned - have never done that.
Thanks
-
Hi Janice
you have 24 hours to correct spelling mistakes etc.
After that time, you need to let the moderators know by using the 'report to moderator' button.
I've removed the names as 24 hours have now passed.
