Title: British Emigration Listings
Post by: Geoff on Thursday 09 November 17 06:36 GMT (UK)
Would anybody have a link to a British website that has Emigration lists for the 19th century (1850's ) preferably.
Everything I've tried sends me to the NSW Immigration Lists.
I think I have finally found the man of my 20 year search but the NSW lists have left out the Surname.
Everything else matches, but if I can find a Btritish version then I can double check.

The man I'm looking for is Michael FENWICK a 20 year old Coal Miner from Co Durham who boarded the Ship Commodore Perry at Liverpool and they set sail on the 17th February 1856. He arrived on the 1st May 1856. What was to become a record crossing time of 73 days.

If anyone can help out with a link I would be most grateful.

Kindest Regards
Geoff

There are no British listings until the 1890's

Hi Rosie99,

Not a good result but thanks for the reply.
That will stop me looking for something that doesn't exist.

Cheers
