My wifes family were mentioned in a will dated 1864 - they were left a watermill and land at Kirby and i wonder if anyone knows of pictures or the history of the mill that I can access from here in Australia

if you tell us the family name we may be able to find other information for you. I have family who lived in Kirkby but a little earlier than your wife's family.

The will was in the name of William Fryer died 1864
He left the Kirby mill to his brother John
