On the Census 1891-1911 the Lytton Arms is at No 12. Googling the Lytton Arms, New Barnet advises it was renamed the Wishing Well and was at No 24.
The original numbering was 1,2,3 etc. through to No. 12. It appears that sometime after 1911 the street numbers were changed to 2, 4, 6 etc through to No 24?
The location of the Greek Restaurant on the corner "fits" the public house on this 1914 map -

(might need to use zoom to deliver picture of old map)

I think I may have reproduced the 1965 map which shows 2,4,6 etc. numbering.
