Looking for information on a Stephen jarrett

His birth or baptism if possible

He first comes into the area of whitchurch in 1740 owning land on the doward
Then marries in 1742 in whitchurch
Has a son George 1754

Not able to find his death or burial or his age when he passed

Any information welcome

Who did he marry please? Are you definitely talking about a Whitchurch in Herefordshire - or is it the Whitchurch in Shropshire?

Forget that question!!

I was coming across several deaths in Shropshire for Stephen Jarretts in Church Stretton- also a Will (in Church Stretton) -- not a million miles from Whitchurch, Shropshire. If yours was another Whitchurch, they aren't him!!

"The Doward" is the clue, a big hill near the Whitchurch in Herefordshire, the Jarretts or jaratts I can see spread all round the area,  Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire mostly but a few in Herefordshire,
Forest of Dean website has the best transcriptions for this area.
