Title: Obtaining copies of wills from 1791
Post by: bevo on Saturday 25 November 17 17:31 GMT (UK)

I've been trying to work out how to get a copy of an original will, but can't work out what you have to do.
I've found a will for John Wake, chair maker, of Boston in 1791, in the index.

Is it possible to get a copy?

I would say Lincolnshire Archives, as the will is prior to 1858.  Perhaps a good idea would be to contact them.

That's a good idea!  Hadn't thought of that.
Thanks

Thanks Edward - I couldn't find this on a normal search.
