Len was my first cousin (1x removed),and I have recently been in contact with his family (lovely people). He made a replica of a very famous clock (replica shown in the photo). In 2004, the replica was sold in New York for £500,000 (the family had donated the clock to a museum).
The following link is to the Southerbys catalogue: [url]http://www.sothebys.com/en/auctions/ecatalogue/2004/masterpieces-from-the-time-museum-n08039/lot.617.html[url]
I was lucky enough to have been given a photocopy of a photo of Len with the clock, which I have taken a photo. Can one of you clever people improve it at all? I do have a larger file if that helps, but it was too big to upload here.

Tried to bring out the clock a bit more but had to compromise with cousin Len.

Thank you Jim - the clock is amazing - could you imagine making it?!

A terrific craftsman that's for sure. I wonder how many hours he put in.

Two tries from me: a colour one and, as an end of year special at absolutely no additional cost, a black & white. :D
