Good evening,
Can anybody decipher the writing attached? One is taken from my great grandfathers death certificate from 1931 the other is from, who I believe to be, my 3 x great grand dads marriage from 1829, it's the witness name I cannot make out.
Please see attachments
Once again many thanks for your help.

Death is "Carcinoma of left bronchus"
-
Is it the pair of names on the right?
Donut Clancy
Edmond Garrage
-
Carcinoma of left bronchus.
Think 2nd name is Edmond Carroll or O'Carroll with the O scored out agree with Milliepede on first name
-
I think the first name might be Dan(ie)l Clancy ( final l of Daniel is superscript).
-
Thanks all, forgive my lack of knowledge, is Donut a name? Donut Clancy?
-
Probably
Danl
-
or .... Dond? Donald?
Added: More likely to be Daniel, if you might expect the writer to write the small superscript d with the same flourish as the d end of Edmond, which may or may not be the case. :)

I thought that the second witnesses surname looked similar to the brides surname? Harroll or similar.
Carol
-
The brides maiden name is Harroll as I believe it. A search on Ancestry on Danl Clancy brings up a copy of random entries which mean nothing to me I have to say (attached for reference). No idea if this is Brother or father of James. James marriage was 1829.
