Hi
I am trying to find the baptism of my ancestor John Cooper who married Elizabeth Pawsey 6th May 1771 in Stansfield, Elizabeth was born in Hundon, but I dont know Suffolk very well and I wondered if anyone could point me in he right direction. The national Buril Index has his death in Stansfield poiting to a birth in 1745.
Many thanks
David ;)

Hi Sandie
I have the marriage of Joseph and Ann, but interestingly John son of William & Mary was the first child born to them unless they moved from another parish.

Hi Sandie
John was the only child born to William and Mary and in the same year there was the first of 6 children born to William and Sarah cooper including another John born 1749 who still could be the right John, he would have been 22 when her marreid Elizabeth.
There is a William Cooper born in 1694 who would have been 50 when the first John was born, possible I suppose if it was a second marriageKind Regards
