Title: Bride & Groom - possible Hampshire family restore and date please
Post by: aus*jen on Tuesday 30 January 18 21:16 GMT (UK)
Another from inherited album, possibly from the Hampshire family.  Would appreciate removal of
light flash and a clean up.  Would also like a date for the photo.

Thankyou,
Jen.

This looks to be Edwardian...around 1908-1912. Beautiful photo Jen  :o and I love your Avatar.

Towards the end of Carol's range, I think.

Lovely photo and decent scan  :)

Thankyou Carol for the date and kind comments.  Avatar is new, Wiggy worked her magic on it.
The original photo was taken and developed in sepia by my Dad, my Mum used oil colours to colour
it.  Those were the days before colour photography!  She sewed my blue and white dress as well.

Regards,
Jen.

Trishanne thankyou for working on this photo, I am so pleased with the result, you have achieved
such wonderful detail on the dress.  Yes, it is a beautiful dress, I wonder if they are fresh flowers
in her hair?

Regards,
Jen.

Thankyou, Loord74   that is a lovely effect with the touch of colour.  You have achieved a really
sharp photo in the black and white, it is excellent.

Thankyou Yvonne for your restoration work on the photo, I love the soft sepia tone, it gives an
'old world' effect which is lovely.

Jen.

I couldn't resist a colour version. I think it is orange blossom in her hair, but hard to tell whether it's real or not.

What a beautiful photo Jen and as Gadget says a decent scan too.  Very beautiful dress!   And a topper for the gent too - very 'how'!  ;)

Might have to have some fun when I return from holidays.  (Just for my own fun.)

Hi all,  Does anyone think that the bride is the same person as the young girl with the bow on
the left of this attached photo?

Regards,
Jen.

Possible,  but her face seems to have filled out and eyes and nose look different.  Do you have any other photos of the young girl 'full on'?

Thankyou for your opinion loord74.

Gadget,  Thankyou for placing the photos side by side, can now see upper lip is narrower on the
bride, eyes and nose different too.  No other photo of the young girl unfortunately.
Have been trying to put names to the group for long time ???  I appreciate your opinion.

Regards,
Jen.
