Title: WW1 cancellations

Does anyone know where a WW1 "dumb cancellation" with the letters "BM" may have been posted ?

Not something I know anything about, but have you thought about contacting the Imperial War Museum?

You then carry on and explain what you would like to know.

I've no idea whether they will be able to assist you but it's worth a try.  Hopefully they can suggest where you need to look if they can't help.

Or try a Philately website, there are philatelists who specialise in wartime cancellations.
