Title: Hawaii

Does anyone know anything about a William Henry Paine, an Englishman in Hawaii, who travelled there to do something with tramways in the late 20th century?

H.T. Co. might be the Hawaiian Tramways Company.

Thanks Erato for the work you have done on W H Pain. I needed to check his dates and, yes, it is him. Also of interest was a reference to a Mr Braddick on the census return. I think he also lived in the village in Somerset where I live. W H Pain occupied the house in which I now live.

Does anyone know of a William Henry Pain. He lived in my house in Somerset, England, UK.  He travelled to the Hawain Islands sometime between 1880 and 1910. How did he get there? What did he do there? He was something to do with tramways I believe.
Any ideas fffrom the Hawaiian islanders?
