Hi guys,
I have been researching my 5th great grandparents Richard and Mercy Gallop of Hastings and according to a document at the East Sussex History Centre Mercys real name was Mary White and she married Richard on the 14th October 1794 at Battle but I cant seem to find this marriage anywhere not even on Family Search and was wondering if anyone else is having problems finding records for the late 1700s. I have also searched Ancestry and Find My Past. Any ideas where else I can look?
Thank you in advance
Ann

FamilySearch doesn't cover all the Sussex parishes.
The Sussex Marriage Index does have Richard Gallop, bachelor, of All Saints Hastings, marrying Mary White at Battle, 14 October 1794. By banns.
Mary was a spinster, of the parish.
