On both the 1891 and 1901 Census, there is a "Bird's Nest" recorded under the civil parish of Clyro.
In 1891 there are three household's listed -

Bird's Nest, Phillip Watkins, age 70
     "         , Thomas Price, 41
     "         , Rees Cartwright, 40

On the 1901 Census the 3 properties are ticked "uninhabited"

This Bird's Nest can be seen here  http://maps.nls.uk/view/101605013   (top of map)
The nearby properties Little Wern-y-pentre and Upper Wern-y-pentre are on the same schedule on the 1891 census.

Yet to spot a "Bird's Nest in the Llowes area.
