Eaneas Mathias LORENZ & Elsie M BROWNE married in 1931 with the marriage registered in Perth #198. I am unable to locate any newspaper article concerning the marriage and wonder if anyone in WA has access to local newspapers?
Elsie M LORENZ's death was registered in Blackwood in 1931 reg #24.
I am unable to locate any newspaper article concerning Elsie's demise and wonder once again if anyone has access to WA newspapers who would be kind enough to see if her death was reported.
Secondly I am looking for a photograph of Elsie's memorial but do not know where to look for burials registered in the district of Blackwood. ???
Regards,
Westy

If the death isn't in Trove where would you expect to find it?Do you have the death certificate which should include place of burial? With that information you could contact the local library for assistance.

Hi Westy
The lady in question was buried at Northcliffe. Confusion about the year.

I noticed the LORENZ marriage was in 1930 according to WA bmds.
Then in 1931 there was this birth.....
LORENZ Elsie J M Reg #84 Blackwood
Maybe the mother died at childbirth or soon after?

Thank you so much Rosball, Essie, matthewj64, & warncoort :) :) :)
The finds are brilliant and so very much appreciated.
I am trying to narrow down a second marriage time frame for Eaneas Matthias who married Christian Gladys sometime after the death of Elsie.
At this point in time I have no maiden name for Christian Gladys, nor a place of birth which may be England but where is as yet unknown although I do have a possible date of birth of 8 Jul 1901. This date was given on passenger manifest of 1958 & 1959.
I am wondering if Elsie Mary LORENZ nee BROWNE probate was resolved in England if she too may have been born in England???
Eneas recuperated from war injuries in England during the war and maybe this is where he and Elsie and maybe Christian Gladys met?
Still very little on which to search as yet.
