printed by shivas of queen street peterhead
these men could be smith relations

The cards with embossed cursive lettering was popular in the 1890s. Where possible, it's always a good idea to post a copy of the back as they give dating clues. Jim is better at dating men's clothing than me so he will be around soon.

many thanks the photographer was listed as shivas of 46 queen street peterhead - james shivas ,artists, colourman - looked it up that shop was on slaters national commercial directory of between 1882- and 1915
