George Stephenson English (1874-1953) son of George & Catherine was born in Co. Durham. Married firstly Isabella Anne Pattison with whom he had children. After Isabella's death, he married Edith M Young. I seek information about George, particularly in later life. Any help will be much appreciated.

Try the 1939 (which we cannot provide) . Is he on there?
Looked on electoral rolls?
What dates/ addresses appear on birth/ marriage certificates?

It would appear from the attached free transcript for 1911 that she was still living at home but employed as a laboratory assistant at Swindon Technical school

Thank you for your reply; much appreciated. I'm very much hoping that someone from the 'English' family might see my post and be able to give me some personal information. He was married, in later life, to a dear great aunt but died before I was born. There is no one alive today, from my small family, who knew him.
