I want to remove an old topic on facebook. How do I do it?
-
To the right of the topic are 3 little dots.
Click on them to bring up a menu - including "Delete"
-
Have tried this and there is no option to delete.
-
You can only remove a topic that you started, I presume that is what you are asking about?
-
Yes, I did start it.
-
When you click on the three dots as suggested you should see the following pop up
-
Lots of ways to try here

The Windows version doesn't come into it as it is facebook's system you use to amend messages.
Judging from your reply above I believe that your post was in a GROUP setting and that is different from a post on your own timeline. Just did some checking and confirmed that Deleting messages in a Group is Admin only. and even then has some problems as it could remain in the timeline of anyone in the Group who has opened the topic.
