Can anyone restore this photo? This is my GG grandmother's family. I hope I scanned and sized this correctly. Thanks.

Great scan, Arris.
My try.

not brilliant - best I could manage. It looks much worse here than it did on my computer unfortunately. :-\

Wiggy and McGroger, you two are just amazing. Thank you so very much. These are excellent! Thanks! I really appreciate this.

Wish I could work out what is going on with the lady right back's hair! ;)

Wiggy, I know what you mean about photos looking different on your computer to when they are posted. This has happened several times for me too.
I think the lady with the hair possibly has a big bow in it. What I want to know is what father is holding?
Here is my attempt,

Thank you Triashanne. It looks wonderful.
I think she had a mass of curls on her head - maybe....
And I cant tell what he or the youngest child is holding.

A book? He is holding a book? Look how he is cuffing it in his palm.

Or a silver salver? Or a plough share? ;D ;D ;D Could be anything couldn't it!
It is interesting that four of them have something in their hands. And mum has her hands full of daughters' shoulders.
There is a real family likeness between them all isn't there - maybe apart from the one to the far right. Dad and two younger girls particularly have same shaped faces.
