This is from my Great Grandfathers Royal Navy records. Thankyou

It reads ... Traced Medal.
This often relates to the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. It shows that the length of his service and his conduct had been officially checked, confirming that he was eligible to receive the medal.

Thankyou. That makes sense, he received his LSGCM around that time.
