Post by: BronwenS on Thursday 01 March 18 07:10 GMT (UK)
Two attached.

Both of them children of John Westcott.

Many thanks

I think the son may be Christofer although I don't know why there is a letter between the X (Christ) and the 'ofer'.

I'm struggling with the daughter's name. Audery would be my best bet. I'm almost certainly wrong.

I agree a spelling variation of Christopher and the other a variation of Judith?

1641 the 1st letter of daughters name looks like the the J in John

I agree the first is a contraction of Christopher. The spelling used here probably derives from the first two letters of the name in its Greek form - chi ro (looking like X p).

The second extract is Judeth.
