Title: Advice sort
Post by: 'Trish' on Sunday 04 March 18 17:01 GMT (UK)
I am trying to find out what my mother in law was doing between 1921 Glasgow, when she was born and what she was doing up to 1945 when she married in Nottingham.

I have sought help with her father & Mother, and the researchers were brilliant, sorting out a complete and utter muddle. However my mother in law lied, about her life and anything to do with her life. Claiming she was a contortionist in a circus here in the UK, but the name she gave was a South African circus.

So, I am seeking advice as to where I go from here. It's difficult to physically research in Glasgow, as I live in Dorset. So can anyone recommend what to do?

Regards Trish

Was it Knights South African Circus or perhaps Savage?  There were many who toured GB during the 1930-1950's.
